Happiness is not something that is postponed, but something that is designed for the present — Jim Rohn
There are two types of happiness, relative happiness and absolute happiness. Relative happiness is transient and trivial. Absolute happiness is permanent and transcendental. Relative happiness comes from solving problems. Absolute happiness comes from overcoming challenges.
Sometimes we act as if material goods change life intrinsically, when in reality absolute and lasting happiness comes from who we are, not from what we have. This happiness is obtained through wisdom and has more to do with a lifestyle. With the choices we make every day, the people we decided to surround ourselves with, the aspirations we have but all the actions we take.
Doing things that make us feel good and improve ourselves will always lead us to be full and satisfied people.
